Ensuring all parts fitted accurately to the customer's frame work, despite being a 3-piece assembly and respecting their design requirements, had its challenges!

By collaborating closely with the customer's Engineering team, we successfully developed a cost-effective part that was distinctly different from the normal boxy structures supplied by others. To meet the requirement for multiple fixing points on their structure, numerous drill bushes were incorporated into the mould design, ensuring a precise alignment of the holes and significantly reducing the time needed for separate drilling operations |
The attention to detail and collaboration with the customer's engineers enabled a rigorous testing process, allowing for the validation of a precise fit among the three separately manufactured elements. This together with the added foam reinforcement ensured that the assembled unit would perform in areas of more extreme weather conditions throughout the world. |
