In house fabrication
This means that we can respond quickly and effectively to manufacturing needs – whether maintaining production equipment, creating trolleys and stillages, or manufacturing structures to support moulds.
Recognising that the quality of the part is also dependent on the laminator being able to comfortably and safely reach every part of the mould, custom frames are typically made. These allow the moulds to be rotated on the frame, improving working conditions for the laminator as well as providing easier access to all corners and edges of the mould.
It’s a small thing that can make a big difference to quality. |
Trolleys and Stillages
The same team also make the associated production transport and storage trolleys and stillages, to ensure that parts are safely managed within the factory as well as for protection during delivery.
Having stillages that are stackable ensure a larger amount of parts can be stored in the same footprint. |

3D scanning
Where the fit of parts is critical, 3D scanning can be vital to ensure the final assembly meets the required tolerances. |
Bespoke jigs are made on site to accurately locate parts and sub-assemblies whilst ensuring repeatability during production.
Jigs to hold the parts during robot trimming can be challenging to make but are critical to accuracy and consistency. |
